Shoulder pass

In netball ball the shoulder pass is a flat, hard pass covering big distances on the court. Step forward with left foot (if ball is held in right hand)with ball held high and push the ball straight ahead from the shoulder. The shoulder pass is thrown in one hand. Hand behind the ball but controlled with two hands, bring it up to your shoulder level, and then with one hand follow through with fingers pointing in the direction of the pass, eye on the receiver and head up. This is not a lob pass the key is to have the pass straight from your shoulder to the reciever's hands. The shoulder pass will have more power if you move your opposite foot in front of your body. The follow through from the whole arm down to the finger tips is a must to have a strong completed shoulder pass.
